Volunteers Needed – Poll Observers

We’re looking for volunteers willing to be trained as outside poll observers on Election Day. These volunteers will undergo training provided by Virginia Victory 2020 with additional local training. You may be assigned anywhere in the County. with a minimum 6.5 hour on-site shift required on Nov. 3. If you are interested in helping with this important task, please contact Teddy Hamilton at teddy@albemarledems.org.

Can’t commit to a lengthy poll-watching shift? The Albemarle Dems need volunteers to help potential voters at the Dem tents at our 30 county precincts on Election Day, Nov. 3. We’re looking for folks who are willing to mask-up and take two-to-four hour shifts handing out sample ballots, answering voter questions, and possibly signing up interested volunteers and newsletter subscribers. If you’re interested, email coordinator Tara de Cardenas at taradecardenas@gmail.com.

Thank you for volunteering! – Postcards

We’ve concluded our postcards program and would like to thank everyone who volunteered! Thank you for being a part of the democratic process!

Congratulations to Postcards4Va, whose swiftly scribbling scribes sent Virginia voters a mind-boggling 435,019 postcards this year!

If you still have time to spare and want to help campaigns boost turnout in battleground states, sign up with VoteForward and write how-to-vote letters to citizens outside Virginia who can vote, but usually don’t. VoteForward has smashed their goal of 10 million letters written before the Oct. 17 mailing date, but they are still going with a new goal of 15 million letters, and they need your help to reach it!
