The People’s Union USA is calling for an economic boycott as a response to the rollback of diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) initiatives by the federal government. The are asking concerned citizens to refrain from making any purchases for the entire 24-hour period of 28 February 2025. This includes shopping online or in stores. The plan is designed to disrupt the economy for a single day to demonstrate the power of the people who want to voice their concerns about troubling developments under the new administration.
The may also call for extended boycotts in the future if the concerns of everyday citizens are not addressed.
