An estimated 6,000 Charlottesville and Albemarle citizens participated in the local “No Kings!” protest yesterday along Rt. 29 near Stonefield yesterday. Millions of people attended the 2,000 similar rallies taking place across the country. The enthusiastic crowd chanted and carried signs focused on opposing the Trump administration policies and supporting the rule of law under the US Constitution. Traffic along the road provided ceaseless support for the rally by honking horns and cheering.
