Democracy on Tap with Tim Heaphy, July 14

Join Albemarle and Charlottesville Dems for our 5th Democracy on Tap. This event will feature Tim Heaphy. He served as chief investigative counsel for the U.S. House Select Committee on the January 6 Attack. Heaphy also conducted a review, commissioned by the city of Charlottesville, of the 2017 Unite the Right rally.

In addition, Heaphy founded the Fountain Fund, “which provides low-interest loans and financial coaching to formerly incarcerated people, helping them build credit and achieve their self-determined goals. The Fountain Fund also advocates for public policy that increases economic opportunities and reduces obstacles for formerly incarcerated people.”
