Join Charlottesville’s chapter of the National Organization of Women for a virtual discussion on criminal justice reform for women on Wednesday, Dec. 9, at 7 p.m. Legal Aid Justice Center Attorneys Shannon Ellis and Ashley Moore will reveal how the over-criminalization of girls and women of color creates a preschool-to-prison pipeline. They’ll share stories from inside the Fluvanna Correctional Center for Women and talk about what’s being done there to improve conditions for the incarcerated women.
