Dear Jack Jouett Democrats:

As we enter the homestretch of this seemingly endless Presidential Election cycle, the choice facing voters could not be clearer. We either can elect Barack Obama and repair the damage the Bush Administration has done to the United States both at home and abroad, or turn to John McCain and continue the policies that produced that damage in the first place. To employ an old metaphor, America is in a deep hole. Obama embraces policy changes that would get us out, while McCain would keep digging. I hope we all agree with Hillary Clinton’s view on this: “No way, no how, no McCain!”

To merely agree with the above and to vote, however, may not be enough to put Obama over the top. Virginia is one of several key swing states needed for a Democratic victory, and Albemarle County is one of the important battlegrounds in Virginia.
